the praxor website

Okay, thank god I wasn’t lying about it being the 9th iteration of my website.

I did some community features, and shaped up some QOL for the website. Thank me later, avid website explorers. P.S. the population for my website explorers is 0. You all hate me. No, I’m kidding, I jest.

The Homepage™ Section

Now with actual functionality and less bulllshittttt.

• Added a handful of new things, listed below:

  • Message of the Day (MOTD): It will house a message that I give it for multiple days, despite it being labeled as a message of the day.
  • Table of Contents: With the page infos finally explained beforehand.
  • Blog section: For Website Changelogs and blog posts I may make. Some of these updates I make will sit nice and neatly between the posts on my Discord server and the blog post part of my website.

• Blog. Updates. Ideas. Everything in the middle part is information about the website, and a more localized update feed for non-server members to look at.

• It’s still HIGHLY recommended to be a member of my Discord server to get the latest updates about me quick and easy.

  • Posts will be labelled as new / old automatically, and there will be dates, timestamps, bells, whistles, gaydars, doohickeys—ah, you get the point. I put it all.

MUSIC PLAYER QOL

I fixed it.

• Made it so that interacting with the Music Player is easier, allowing for “generic” keyboard shortcuts (e.g. pressing space to pause) and tapping on the playlist to also toggle playback.

  • There is also a guide for all the shortcuts on the music page itself, under the playlist.

• Refined names. I think. For some songs, I added in the artists. Once again, I’ll do the rest later.

• Cleaned up the design of the music player island part (the actual player itself), and removed the cover art idea.

  • It wasn’t worth it, as all the assets had to be preloaded in a weird way for the cover arts to be visible. Maybe I’ll reimplement it, as some cover arts for the songs are cool, but I genuinely forgot where I got half of the music that isn’t mine.

About Me Page Refinement

• Spiced it up like fucking crazy, reworking the design and adding flavor text.

• Removed /art (it’s just hidden, no worries) in honor of this new display system, so that all fanart given is evenly appreciated.

  • You can click the images, and it brings up a gallery view so you can analyze it personally.

ARRREEGLOOOOOSS. God.

• Bug one.
• Bug two.
• Bug six or seven. Yo, I actually forgot anything that was broken, or it was too minor to be logged.

Easter Egg Changes

• Completed the special song choreography. Still PC only, sorry.
• Moved the Itty Bitty Kitty to the top of my home page, and it still functions the same way.
• Changed up the cult page’s design. Thank me later, visitor.

Removals

• /art page.

  • Replaced with the new collage thing on my About Me page.

Notes

I wanted to include some form of recognition on my website, but I couldn’t find a suitable way to help bring all of my friends and fans together without properly recognizing them.

Contributing to my website in any way will be recognized, whether it’s new fanart for my website or simply some ideas. You will be credited in major changelogs for big website ideas, and immediately credited with any form of Praxor-related media submissions, e.g. fanart.
